ABSTRACT
Capripox viruses are the etiological agents of economically devastating poxviral diseases in cattle, sheep and goats and are endemic in India. The aim of this study was to genetically characterize a vaccine strain of sheeppox virus (Rumanian Fanar strain) by determining the sequence of P32 gene and its comparison publically available sequences.
